Lend & Grow was founded five months ago by Rakesh Kumar Malhotra, popularly known to peers and students as R.
K.
Malhotra.
Born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Rakesh grew up in a middle-class household where education was highly valued but financial literacy was often left unexplored.
Curious from an early age, he was fascinated not just by mathematics but by how money worked in everyday life – how families saved, how people invested, and how small decisions made big differences over time.
After completing his education in commerce, Rakesh worked in academic support roles, writing training material and simplifying complicated topics for students.
Over the years, he realized that the gap between technical knowledge and everyday application often left readers confused.
He believed that creating a learning environment where financial and economic concepts were broken down into simple, example-driven explanations could benefit students and learners worldwide.
